TrueScience: Textbook for CBSE Grade 8 (2026-27 Session)

TrueScience for Grade 8 continues the journey begun in Grade 7, integrating concepts from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Earth Science into a coherent middle school Science course. Strictly aligned with NEP 2020 and NCF-SE 2023, the book supports inquiry-based, experiential, and competency-focused learning, as expected in CBSE classrooms from 2026–27 onward.

Chapter 1 introduces students to the process of “doing” science—asking investigable questions, planning experiments and interpreting results—setting the tone for the rest of the book.

Key pedagogical features

• 13 carefully graded chapters with clearly stated Learning Outcomes and an inspiring quote at the beginning of each chapter to orient students to the key ideas and skills they will develop.
• Student-friendly, interactive writing style with stories, real-life contexts, case studies, tables and flowcharts that minimise page-turning and keep related text and visuals together for better concept clarity.
