Sparkle Multiskill English Starter A

Sparkle Multiskill English, comprising Starters A and B, eight Readers and eight Activity Books, for Pre-nursery, Nursery and Classes I to VIII, is an innovative package developed on a holistic approach to the teaching of English that gives equal weightage to speech fluency as well as correct usage. The idea was to blend selectively the salient features of the interactive as well as the structural approach and evolve a technique distinctly suited to young learners.

Sparkle Starters A and Bare intended to initiate young learners into the study of English. Starter A is meant to enable them to relate sounds with letters of the English alphabet, recognise the letters and then reproduce them without assistance. Starter B will sharpen their four basic language skills besides making them conscious of the sounds, stress and intonation patterns of English. Effort has also been made to provide them with basic vocabulary. Together, Starter A and B will lead them gently on to a stage from where they can undertake a more thorough study of English through Sparkle Multiskill English Readers and Activity Books.
